NYP Connect is a health app that brings medical care and services right to your fingertips. NYP Connect connects you with experts from Weill Cornell and Columbia, 7 days a week, for health needs such as virtual urgent care, video visits with physicians, medical chart and record information, and more all on your mobile or tablet device.

The app offers a variety of features to help users find and manage their healthcare needs. One of the main features is the ability to search for a new doctor based on specialty, location, health insurance, and even language. This makes it easier for users to find a healthcare provider that meets their specific needs and preferences.

For those who are already patients at NewYork-Presbyterian, the app also allows them to connect to the NYP Patient Portal. Through this portal, patients can virtually manage their healthcare by scheduling appointments, accessing medical records, messaging their doctor, checking test results, and paying bills. This makes it more convenient for patients to stay on top of their healthcare needs.

In case of non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries, the app also offers a Virtual Urgent Care feature. This allows users to connect with Emergency or Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians from Columbia or Weill Cornell Medicine through a live video chat. This service is available 7 days a week between 8:00 AM and Midnight, providing users with quick and convenient access to medical care.

Another convenient feature of the app is Video Visits. Instead of having to physically go to the doctor's office, users can video chat with their doctor for telehealth visits. This is a great option for those who may have difficulty traveling or have busy schedules, as it allows them to communicate with their healthcare team and address their medical needs from the comfort of their own home.
