MEGA is an application that allows you to upload files from your smartphone or tablet and access them from any device, anywhere. You can search, download, stream, view, share, rename, or delete your files. You can also share folders with your contacts and see their updates in real time. The app also offers the option to automatically sync your local data to the Cloud drive, ensuring that your important files are always safe and accessible across all your devices.

It is important to remember your password and back up your account recovery key, as losing them will result in lost access to your files. The Pro I plan offers 2 TB of storage space and 2 TB of transfer quota per month for €9.99 (US$9.99) per month or €99.99 (US$99.99) per year. The Pro II plan offers 8 TB of storage space and 8 TB of transfer quota per month for €19.99 (US$19.99) per month or €199.99 (US$199.99) per year. And the Pro III plan offers 16 TB of storage space and 16 TB of transfer quota per month for €29.99 (US$29.99) per month or €299.99 (US$299.99) per year.

All of MEGA's client-side application code is published on GitHub for transparency, including the code for their Android mobile app. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods of the same duration at the same price as the initial period chosen. To manage your subscriptions, simply tap on the Play Store icon on your device, sign in with your Google ID, and then tap on the MEGA app.

The app requires certain permissions, such as WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE to download and upload files, CAMERA to take and upload photos, READ_CONTACTS to easily add contacts, and RECORD_AUDIO and CAPTURE_VIDEO_OUTPUT for end-to-end encrypted audio and video calls.
