These include Push To Talk (PTT) functionality for instant communication with groups or individuals, live video sharing, team collaboration tools such as text and multimedia messaging, and a presence service to easily see who is active and their status. In case of emergencies, the app also has an SOS alarm feature that allows users to call for help and receive immediate assistance.
For organizations that require location tracking, Synch offers live location tracking to see the whereabouts of workers on a map. It also has the ability to create geofences and send alerts when users enter or exit these designated areas. Additionally, the app supports interoperability with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) networks for common voice group communication.
Synch also offers a safe worker solution for managing and keeping workers safer, as well as a dispatch console for centralized communication and coordination of teams and workers. The app also integrates with external information systems, eliminating the need for standalone mobile applications.
In order to enhance user interaction and accessibility, Synch uses the AccessibilityService API. This allows for convenient control options using device hardware, even when the app is running in the background. However, the app does not collect, store, or share any personal information and users have full control over enabling or disabling this service.
