Engage in piracy and become a hunted Captain.Take command of an 'Age of Sail' ship and her crew, exploring a vast, story-filled world that reacts to your decisions. Engage enemy vessels, fortifications and sea monsters in brutal tactical combat, all framed in an art style inspired by classic Naval Oil Paintings.

Survive on the edge in a world with consequences by discovering unique, story-filled islands across diverse biomes and themed areas. Engage in vicious combat with enemy ships, fortifications, and sea monsters, using strategic tactics to out-manoeuvre and out-gun your opponents. The weather and environmental conditions also play a role in battles, with tidal waves, lightning strikes, volcanic bombardments, and blizzards impacting your strategy. The game focuses on "Age of Sail" ships in a fantasy setting, with an art style inspired by classic naval oil paintings.

But ship destruction is not the end in this brutal world where death is permanent. As the captain, there is always hope as long as you are alive. You can escape to a lifeboat or fight your way back to the top if you are stranded in the water. Combat is tactical and savage, with each battle being hard-fought and always on the edge of defeat. To overcome the odds, you must utilize every advantage available.

There are dozens of diverse weapons and upgrades to use on various ship classes, and you can even customize your vessel's appearance by capturing enemy ships intact. Your crew also gains experience and traits to give you an edge over the enemy. The game world reacts to your actions, so your decisions have consequences. You can engage in piracy and become a hunted captain, undertake quests that drastically change the environment, and make allies or enemies that can help or seek vengeance.

There are multiple stories to play, including the main campaign where you overthrow a Cthulhu-esque cult, a freeplay mode where you rebuild your forebears' legacy, and shorter tales such as a combat campaign focused on rescuing your sister or playing as one of Father's children in "Sword of the Cult" and climbing the ranks until you are granted the ultimate weapon: The Kraken. This version is a free demo, and an in-game purchase is required to unlock the full content.
